Challenges.
Bonafide faced the complex task of automating the resupply and compliance tracking of CPAP equipment. Building an internal development team was not feasible, as recruiting, training, and managing in-house talent would have consumed substantial time and resources, risking both the project timeline and operational efficiency. To achieve this, the solution focused on empowering patients to manage their treatment more independently, reducing manual interventions, and optimizing processes to improve operational efficiency and adherence rates. The solution was also designed to support future growth, reinforcing Bonafide’s leadership in the Durable Medical Equipment (DME) sector and enabling faster innovation to maintain competitiveness.

Solution.

The solution involved integrating the “My Sleep Coach” app, enabling healthcare providers to offer their patients an automated way to manage their CPAP therapy. Through this app, patients could schedule appointments, access educational resources, and monitor their progress in real-time, which significantly improved treatment adherence.

To ensure regulatory compliance, a robust compliance module was developed, providing providers with a comprehensive view of patient adherence data. This allowed them to monitor whether patients were meeting the necessary regulatory standards. As part of this module, an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system was implemented, allowing patients to complete compliance forms via automated calls, reducing the manual workload for providers and streamlining the overall process.

The solution also included interactive dashboards, offering real-time insights and customizable alerts to help providers proactively monitor patient progress. Designed to be scalable, the system is fully equipped to grow alongside Bonafide and its clients’ future demands.

 

 

Results.

The implementation of the S3 compliance module enabled Bonafide’s clients to significantly increase operational efficiency, allowing them to reach more patients daily. As a result, healthcare providers were able to dedicate more time to personalized patient coaching, a crucial factor in improving adherence to CPAP therapy.

With the compliance module in place, Bonafide’s clients achieved adherence rates surpassing 70%, a substantial improvement that ensures compliance with regulatory standards. This increase in adherence has also maximized insurance reimbursements, reinforcing the financial stability and profitability of Bonafide’s clients’ operations.

    Novartis is one of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies, with headquarters in Switzerland and offices in more than 90 countries. Some of the products the company sells are subject to a pharmacovigilance program in order to provide maximum safety for patients under treatment. The pharmaceutical company needed to rebuild its application from scratch in order to improve the quality of customer service, as well as make general optimizations.

    Develop a web application to increase the availability of access for doctors, clinical analysis laboratories, and patients to ensure the correct prescription of the drugs included in the pharmacovigilance program.

    Ensure the correct prescription of the drugs included in the program, guaranteeing safety for their patients’ use of them. Comply with regulations of the pharmacovigilance program that requires the periodic registration of hemograms, generation of alarms, monitoring of treatment, notifications and generation of reports addressed to different control bodies.

    Solution.

    A web application was developed that allowed patients of a certain medication to be included in a pharmacovigilance program. The application allows user the ability to create reports, notifications and alarms in the event that a patient presents any irregularity. It also allows users to configure the profile of doctors responsible for patients, points of sale and system users, and helps establish sales rules and treatment phases.

      Background.

      Edenor is the main energy provider in Argentina in terms of users and electricity sold, marketing in an area corresponding to 4,637 square kilometers and a population of more than seven million inhabitants.
      Edenor needed to be able to calculate the energy by areas from the energy registered in each substation, feeders, and transformation centers, among others; since its current management system did not allow for that visibility.

      Challenges.

      Edenor needed to standardize the way in which it calculated the energy consumed in the areas where it served from the data registered in each substation, feeders, and transformation centers, among others. Previously, this data was collected by a remote reading system where, in some cases, consumption curves were recorded every 15 minutes and, in others, only the monthly value of the energy block was available. For forecasting tasks, the demand for each area is considered and the different exchanges with other areas are added or subtracted, this calculation being affected since it does not have an effective way of analyzing the electricity consumption of consumers.

       

      Business Goals.

      General optimization of the company’s data analysis system, seeking to achieve a daily curve of the demanded energy by area. The company also needed to reduce the margin of error when processing management data from different sources where the unification was carried out manually. Increasing the information analysis and processing efficiency should allow for a better estimation of the demand for energy consumption, vital for maintenance and service improvements.

       

      Solution.

      Once the information from the different management programs was unified, a web application was developed that allowed Edenor users to obtain information on daily consumption, by rooms and by month from the measurement points in each area, taking into account batch and manual import processes, thus facilitating the monthly energy assembly process. To ensure completeness and correctness of the information, anomaly detection parameters were set up which will be notified after processing the files.

       

      Results.

      Once the technical optimizations were carried out on the electrical meters so that the required period could be measured, the work of centralizing the information on the different platforms and management tools began, managing to visualize energy consumption every fifteen minutes. Control panels were created with graphs of different formats that not only indicated power consumption but also provided predictions and other data for decision-making.

        Develop an application that contains a large number and variety of management tools used by technicians. This application had to be integrated with Telecom’s central servers in order to have a general record of all the activity that the technician would carry out.

         

        Solution.

        A migration was made from the existing application to a new one called Toolbox, using new technologies and functionalities to facilitate the work of the technical team, including functionalities such as: carrier line status query, ADSL connection status query, registration of Tests carried out, generation of job tickets, consultation of access points and connections, and generation and tracking of work orders, among others.
